The C19 I.D. Project seeks to create a language that reminds others to keep their distance or that you are ready to re-socialize with others who have reason to feel the same way. The COVID ID bands and pins visually indicate:
RED: You are physically distancing (reminds others to keep their distance).
GREEN: You have decided to re-socialize (positive antibody test)
GREEN is not an immunity passport. Those who wear green knowingly take on a risk of socializing, however, only with each other.
100% of profits are donated to first responder charities.
Wearing your social-distancing preference will instantly set your community’s expectations of what you expect of them.
"I'm an essential worker. When you see me, please keep a safe distance"
“I’ve been tested - I’ve decided to get close with others like me”
"I'm a close talker - I need to remind myself & others, 6 feet apart"
Helping humankind without harming our planet. COVI.D. bands are made from 100% recycled silicone, packed in biodegradable baggies, and shipped in recycled paper shipping materials.
The C19 I.D. Project seeks to help humanity recover and move forward so we can all start to feel more normal again.
Nobody can enforce who wears what and people who wear no IDs should be assumed to be physically distancing. If we all work together, this project can become an international language helping us come back together.
It is up to each of us to be respectful. So only wear GREEN after receiving a positive antibody test and considering the known science behind testing, as well as listening to guidance from the CDC and your government regarding antbodies. Please only socialize with others who also wear green — understand it is with some risk; likewise, please honor social distancing when you see or wear red.
Think of traffic lights.
